About Kingsway High School

Kingsway High School is a South African English-medium, co-educational high school situated 2 km north of the Amanzimtoti business centre and less than a kilometre from the shores of the Indian Ocean.
It has buildings, particularly extensive playing fields, and is designed to cater for up to a thousand learners. In keeping with the modern trend the school now has State Status, enabling all parents, through involvement in the Governing Body and its committees, to play an active role in ensuring the best for their children.

KHS | A warm welcome to Mrs du Toit
The Kingsway High Family is very happy to welcome our new Principal, Mrs Sandra du Toit. Mrs du Toit taught at Kingsway High from 2001 to 2011 and left us to take up the Principal's post at Port Natal School. We are sure that she will bring with her a wealth of experience and lead us to greater heights.
KHS | Well done class of 2016
Kivaan Naidu came 1st with 94%, Vashurin Pillay was 2nd with 92.29% and Hlengiwe Mngadi was 3rd with 87.85%.
73% of our learners achieved a Bachelor Pass (compared to 36.86% in KZN as a whole and 35.46% in SA as a whole), 21.3% achieved a Diploma Pass and 3.7% achieved a Higher Certificate Pass. Kivaan Naidu (Dux of 2016) and Ndumiso Radebe (Head Boy of 2016) have both been granted Allan Gray Scholarships for their entire Tertiary Education Studies.

Well done to the Class of 2016!!
Congratulations to our 2016 Dux, Kivaan Naidu, who was placed 4th out of all the matrics in the Umlazi District (which runs from Durban North to Umkomaas) for the 2016 NSC exams. This is an amazing achievement as there are over 20 000 matrics in this district. This is the 7th year in a row that a Kingsway learner has been placed in the top 10 of our District. Well done Kivaan, we are super proud!!

Well done to our Touch Rugby team who took part in a tournament at Hillcrest Villagers Rugby Club on Saturday. They finished 2nd in the Silver Final. Well done boys!!
